Hello, I´m Susana!
Challenged by a friend, I decided to refurbish this wonderful house where I have spent all my holidays. It’s a place where we can combine three different moments: sleeping, working and having fun.
All in one place!
Project
Born in June 2015, The Sea Office is the first place to offer the Sleep, Work & Fun concepts in one place. A place where you can work (coworking space), rest (in a 60’s architectural villa) and have fun (enjoying the resources that Costa da Caparica offers) – all in one place!
Costa da Caparica is a fisherman’s village, 20 minutes away from Lisbon’s International airport. The Sea Office is only a 5 minute walk away from the beach which could make your stay an unforgettable one.
The Space
A villa built in the 60s, made up of two different main areas: the rooms are located at the 1st floor and a ground floor where an openspace area was turned into a coworking space area.
Moments of relaxation and conviviality can be also enjoyed in the garden that is always available.

I stayed at Susanas house for a couple weeks and I had a great time. Iam used to travel own my own and it was nice to meet other tourists there who also travelled by themselves, from all over the world, not only germany. Iam 71 years old, so Iam a senior and it was nice to be with different people – all kind of ages. Another thing which I like is, that Susana speaks english;-) I recommend The Sea Office also. My daughter used to work there and she had everything she needed. I will be back in spring, because I like to visit lisboa an staying with Susana in Caparica gives me the opportunity to have beach days and cultures days in lisbon. A BIG THANK YOU!!!!! See you soon.

It’s easy to be happy here, because Susana and Bud (her dog) are very lovely. The house is sooooo close to the ocean – for a surfer girl like me it’s the perfect place to stay and it feels like home. Susana is always available, for questions and suggestions. The Sea Office, the working place, has a good atmosphere and it’s great to work there with others and share ideas. I strongly recommend the Sea Office for Working & Living;-)

awesome airbandb/cool co-working space with bbq and garden in Costa Caparica, Portugal.
Susana (Su Mendes) is a fantastic, attentive and very helpful host. the location couldn’t be better, 10 minutes walking to the beach and the room was super comfortable. i met a load of great travelers there as well smile emoticon i’ll be back one day….
if you’re ever in the area i totally recommend it.
